Lower your gaze, not just from the opposite sex but also
Lower your gaze from the faults of others
Lower your gaze from that which does not concern you
Lower your gaze from that which people want hidden
Lower your gaze from that which makes you angry
Lower your gaze from things that will make you jealous
Why is it that people who are shy, introspective, reflective, or sensitive, are taught that they are somehow defective? These people are not openly welcomed by the masses and they are definitely not accepted for the personality they display.
It’s difficult enough living on this Earth with all the chaos surrounding us. The least we should do is let people be who they are, openly, shamelessly, and gracefully.
Live a life that cares
“Always choose to heal, not to hurt, to forgive not to despise, to persevere not to quit, to smile not to frown, and to love not to hate! At the end of life, what really matters is not what we bought, but what we built, not what we got, but what we shared, not our competence but our character, and not our success but our significance. Live a life that matters. Live a life that cares.”
Sometimes we think we know really well about a certain person but in fact, we really don’t. Because like the wind, the status of our imaan and hearts just keep changing (directions). Rather than judge, make du’a for them, for all of us. May Allah SWT give us continuous guidance and strengthen our imaan to walk on His path, aameen.
